Hall Hire

The SCA Community Hall hosts a wide range of regular clubs and societies, but can also be hired for private parties and events.  It has a kitchen, toilets, and an outside terrace over-looking the recreation ground which is included in the price of your hire.
Private hire rates are £20 per hour of hire, with a reduced rate of £15 per hour if you are a member of the Association.  (It is really easy to join and costs only £5 per household per year.  Please see our Join Us page for more details of how to join).  Private bookings include half an hour of set up and packing up time, and you are welcome to use the halls tables/ chairs, crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooker etc.  We also have a barbecue which is available to you for a small extra payment.  

Please note that, unfortunately, we are not able to accept bookings for teenage birthday parties.

Please note - adult to child ratios:

Our insurance stipulates the following adult child ratios for Hall users: 

Up to 2 years old - 1:3

2 & 3 years - 1:4

Over 3 years - 1:8
